This is looking out from inside the bathroom. I don't know why it is shaped like this. 
Behind the old white wooden door with the latch is a 'closet', and the duct work for the cold air return. I am not sure what the intended purpose of this room was, but I really want to get the wall taken out as soon as possible!! The chimney will stay, but we need the space for the living room area.

The regular white door is going into, what we hope will be, our master bedroom.
